Jacqueline’ s bio

  • Jacqueline’s path wasn’t paved with sudden enlightenment, but a slow return to the wild joy of childhood. Running in the hills and dancing intuitively to the music she loved, created an embodied memory of bliss she would spend decades remembering. This deep pull toward nature and the body became the seed of her future work. As a teenager, she sought meaning in astrology, philosophy, music and sport, yet family trauma, low self esteem and a sense of feeling like an outsider also shaped her years.

  • In her teens, she turned to the bright lights of Glasgow to study Biomedical Science and found herself navigating a hedonistic mix of clubbing, recreational drugs, and alcohol. It was a search for connection and relief, for something to numb the ache or lift the spirit. University gave her a deep understanding of the body’s mechanics, but her heart remained restless. She found purpose in fitness, nutrition and teaching, adoring her role as a Biology and Pastoral Care teacher even as she searched for deeper truths behind the science.

The first real shift came in 2006. A trip to Thailand with her brother saw them staying in tiny huts on Ko Phangan, living simply with a backpack. Bathed in turquoise waters and nights under the stars, laughing, singing and watching storms roll in, she felt a quiet freedom. For the first time, she heard what was already there.

Back home in 2008, a fellow teacher introduced her to her first mentor Lilia ‘let it go’ Sinclair. Lilia owned a holistic health centre and had just returned from a Sedona Method Retreat in Arizona when she introduced Jacqueline to infrared saunas, fasting, and detoxing and The Sedona Method. It was in the warmth of that sauna, reading her first book on liberation called ‘Happiness Is Free’ by Hale Dwoskin and Lester Levenson, that the first cracks in her old worldview appeared. She practiced letting go with dedication, beginning to release deep-rooted emotional and mental patterns to clear the way for new ways of being.

Around 2012, amidst the beautiful, exhausting reality of parenting a toddler with a new baby on the way a true spiritual awakening happened. Facing her own family trauma and the fear of repeating unhealthy patterns, Jacqueline began to question everything in her life and the world around her.

Jacqueline began to explore Yoga, Ayurveda and Energy therapy and completed training as a Children’s Yoga and baby massage teacher. She gathered pieces of the puzzle — Ho’oponopono, EFT, TCM and dived deeply into an array of spiritual teachings and wellbeing practices — seeking to integrate the science she knew with the spirit she felt.

However financial strain, back pain and the stress from career and commuting pushed her to a breaking point. In 2014, she made a radical leap, leaving her teaching career and moving her family to Malta.

For six years, Jacqueline immersed herself in Malta’s serene beauty and spiritual communities and completed her Yoga Teacher training. Under Master Teachers Sat Mindo and Lyonne Premonanda of Divine Marga, Jacqueline was also introduced to the teachings of Non-duality and Tantra undergoing many years of deep introspection and unravelling. But spiritual highs couldn't shield her from life’s realities such as raising three children far from home, finances, and relationship challenges.

Returning to Scotland ushered in a grounded chapter. Following years of both awakening and escapism, integration finally took root. Jacqueline began deepening her realisations — living them outwardly, not just in private practice or on retreat, but in the messy, beautiful reality of daily life. She turned her awareness toward healing her body, mind, relationships, and nervous system, releasing the residue of separation, fear, and overdoing. From this place, she has now stepped back into service — as a Teacher, Guide, and University Learning Support Assistant — walking alongside others with compassion and joy.
